- I recently got an old IBM 5081 19 colour monitor
- (20 inch) for the bargain price of nothing!
- Needless to say, I'd love to get this baby to
- work with my 1200, so can anyone answer these
- questions (or know of anyone who could)..
-
- 1) There are six BNC type connectors on the back
- (2 rows of three). Each row has a connector
- coloured Red Green and Blue. The top row has
- a 'arrow pointing into a circle' symbol, and
- the bottom row has a 'arrow pointing out of
- a circle' symbol. Anyone know whats going-on
- here? Presumably one row is RGB, and the other
- is sync or something...
- There is also a dip switch with three positions
- (0, 1 and 2). What does this do?
-
- 2) Does the monitor scan at 15khz? Or 70? Ideally,
- I'd love it to work with Super 72 (which I use
- with my Microvitec 1438)
-
- Any help much appreciated. And before you ask, yes
- I did 'phone IBM!
